Socionara

Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

In short: we collect only what we need to publish your posts, we keep it encrypted and private, and we never sell it or use it for ads.

1. Who we are

Socionara is a service that lets you write a post once and publish it, now or on a schedule, to the social accounts you connect. Socionara runs the service and is responsible for your information. You can reach us at socionaraofficial@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to run Socionara for you:

  • Your account: your name, email address, timezone, notification choices and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store your password itself.
  • Google sign-in (optional): if you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
  • Connected social accounts: when you approve Socionara on a platform, we receive an access key for that account and basic details such as the account’s name, ID, profile picture and the pages or channels you choose. We never receive your social media passwords.
  • What you create: the posts you write, the photos and videos you upload, the accounts you pick, the times you schedule them for, and each post’s result.
  • Your own developer keys: if you connect through your own developer app, Discord webhook or bot, we store those keys.
  • Security records: sign-ins, failed sign-ins and other security events, with the time, your device type (for example “Chrome on macOS”) and network (IP) address.

3. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To publish the posts you schedule, to the accounts you chose, at the time you chose.
  • To keep your connections working, renew access and warn you before it ends.
  • To send emails you need: confirming your address, resetting your password, and alerts you’ve asked for when a post or account needs attention.
  • To protect Socionara and you from abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.

4. What we never do

  • We never sell or rent your information.
  • We never use your information or your posts for advertising.
  • We never post anything you didn’t write and schedule yourself.
  • We never read your private messages, and we don’t ask platforms for access to them.
  • We never use your content to train AI models.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

  • The social platforms you choose: when a post is due, we send its text and media to the platforms and accounts you picked.
  • Service providers: companies that host our servers and files, manage our encryption keys (Amazon Web Services) and deliver our emails (Resend). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Google: only if you sign in with Google or connect YouTube.
  • When the law requires it: if we must respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the safety and rights of people using Socionara.

6. Social platforms

When you connect an account, the platform shares only what you approve on its own screen. We use it only to show which account is connected and to publish your posts:

  • LinkedIn: your name, profile picture and the company pages you manage, to post to your profile or those pages.
  • Facebook and Instagram (Meta): the Pages you manage and the Instagram business or creator accounts linked to them, to publish posts, photos and reels.
  • TikTok: your display name, username and profile picture, to upload the videos you schedule. We don’t read your other videos, followers or messages.
  • X: your name and username, to post to your profile.
  • YouTube: your channel name, to upload the videos you schedule.
  • Discord: the channel and webhook or bot you set up, to send posts there.

Each platform also handles your data under its own privacy policy.

7. Google and YouTube

Socionara’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Socionara uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to your channel. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Socionara’s access at any time from your Google security settings.

8. How we keep it safe

  • Access keys for your social accounts and your own developer keys are encrypted, with the master key held in a hardware-backed key service. Only our publishing system can decrypt them.
  • Every record is tied to its owner, so one person can never see another’s data.
  • Photos and videos are kept in private storage, reached only through short-lived links.
  • Everything travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • You can turn on two-step sign-in and see your recent security activity in Settings.

9. How long we keep it

  • Your account information is kept until you delete your account.
  • When you disconnect a social account, we delete its access key straight away and ask the platform to revoke it.
  • Uploads that were never finished are removed after 1 day, and files never added to a post after 7 days.
  • Security records may be kept a little longer after your account is deleted, where we need them to prevent abuse or meet legal duties.

10. Deleting your data

You can remove your data at any time:

  • One social account: in Socionara, open Accounts and choose Disconnect. Its access is deleted straight away.
  • Your whole account: email socionaraofficial@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We delete your account, posts, files and connections within 30 days and confirm by email.
  • From the platform’s side: you can also remove Socionara in Facebook (Settings → Apps and websites), Instagram (Settings → Website permissions), TikTok (Settings → Security → Manage app permissions), LinkedIn (Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services) or your Google account. We then lose access straight away.

11. Cookies

The Socionara app only uses first-party cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session. They are sent only to Socionara and last up to 7 days of use. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website sets no cookies.

12. Your choices and rights

  • Change your name, timezone and email alerts any time in Settings.
  • Disconnect any social account from the Accounts page.
  • Ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing socionaraofficial@gmail.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to object or to complain to your data protection authority. We’ll answer every request within 30 days.

13. Children

Socionara is not meant for anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

14. Where your information is stored

Our providers may store and process information in countries other than yours. Wherever that happens, we make sure your information is protected as this policy describes.

15. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For important changes, we’ll also email you before they take effect.
